Thomas Cook says Greece was the single most searched-for summer 2017 destination on Christmas Day and Boxing Day among Brits looking for summer 2017.
The country accounted for 17% of all searches on thomascook.com, according to the operator.
The Spanish destinations of the Canary Islands, Balearics and mainland Spain accounted for a third of all searches over the same two days, with 36% of searches for Spain.
When looking at individual Spanish destinations, the Canaries, the Balearics and Spain were second, third and fourth most-search-for summer 2017 destination respectively.
Turkey was fifth and the US sixth on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
The operator said in October that more holidaymakers will opt for an all-inclusive holiday in 2017, in particular for destinations such as Greece and the Canaries, which haven’t traditionally been recognised for their all-inclusive offering.
