According to the german statistical office (Destatis), passengers who traveled from the german airports abroad amount to 66.2 million.
This estimation is about the period April – October 2018. It is noted that the passengers increased by 2.7 million or by 4.3% compared to the same period of 2017.

The number of passengers who visited Greece from the german airports increased 15% compared to the same period of 2017. The number of passengers amounted to 3.4 million compared to 3 million in the 7-month period of 2017. In addition, the greek islands had a higher increase (17.8%) with 2.17 million passengers compared to 1.85 million passengers the same period of 2017.
It is noted that the air traffic to Egypt increased by 38.3%, to Morocco by 21.4%, and to Tunisia by 49.6%. Turkey reported a 20.1% increase. On the other hand, Spain reported just 1.8% increase and the Canary Islands 1.7%.
Finally, the passenger traffic to the USA decreased by 6.7% and to the Caribbean by 12.6%.
