Athens ranks among the top ten cities in Europe for girls’ trips, according to the findings of a recent survey by Titan Travel.
The British travel platform examined factors such as walkability, safety, spa and wellness options, food and drink recommendations, hotel costs, and seasonal weather conditions and revealed the official Top 10 best European cities for a girls’ trip in 2025, ranking Athens eighth in the popular top ten, with a score of 7.35 out of 10.
According to the survey, Athens is an ideal choice for a girls’ trip, as it offers cultural attractions—212 of which are free to enter—rooftop bars, and various beach clubs. There are also over 2,000 restaurants and 215 bars and clubs.
As for the cost of accommodation, it amounts to £66 per night in a three-star hotel. At the top of the ranking for a city break for girls in Europe is the city of Porto, with a score of 8.68 out of 10.
The city is located in the northwest of the country and is known for its bridges, impressive cobbled streets and alleys, and, of course, its port, which has been of great commercial importance since the 4th century.
Titan Travel rated Porto as the ideal destination for a girls’ trip due to its ease of getting around on foot—it takes just 44 minutes to reach the five top attractions—its nearly 200 free attractions, over 1,800 restaurants, and nearly 100 spas and wellness centers. As for accommodation costs, they amount to £63 per night in a three-star hotel.
Florence comes in second place with a score of 8.09, with the capital of Tuscany being the most easily accessible city on foot in the Top 10, as the average time between the city’s top five attractions is just 10 minutes.
