Air China is about to freeze flights to Athens from February 17 to March 18, as a preventative measure to fight spread of coronavirus, according to a recent announcement of the airline company.
An officer in Athens announced that “public safety is the major reason for such a decision and there are also operational reasons leading to it”. Air China flies to Beijing from Athens on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays every week.
The airline company gives full refund to passengers who already have bookings as well as the possibility to change their tickets for a later date.
