Almost 40 percent of the FTI portfolio can already be booked for summer 2021

BUSINESS TOURISM

The tour operator FTI enables a large number of hotels to be booked early, for example for holidays in Egypt, Turkey or the Emirates.

As the worldwide travel warning from the Federal Foreign Office has been extended again, travel planning for the coming weeks and months is currently still subject to major question marks. Many wanderlust addicts now prefer to think about their vacation in summer 2021. FTI is therefore making a majority of the offers from the future catalogs available in the usual booking systems as never before. These include, for example, Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Morocco, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany or city trips worldwide.

Three tourist seasons can be booked at the same time: summer 2020, winter 2020/21 and summer 2021

“Almost 40 percent of our portfolio is already available,” says Richard Brodrecht, FTI package tour expert. “Early decision-makers now have the advantage that they can freely choose between all offers and room categories. This enables them to secure a room in the desired category in their favorite hotel in the desired destination”.

Hotels and holiday programs on the long-haul route are also extensively incorporated into the systems. USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand can be booked here, as well as offers from the rental car broker driveFTI can be found. The destinations have also been supplemented with hotels that can be booked online.

“Even more distant destinations had a longer pre-booking process even before the Corona crisis, so we are well prepared for long-term planning and can already offer a wide selection,” explains Matthias Huwiler, who is responsible for long-distance travel at FTI.

Other hotels and destinations will be gradually fed into the booking systems over the next few weeks and will be available to travel agencies and customers shortly
