The subsidiary of the bankrupt FTI, technology services provider Anixe, based in Wroclaw, Poland, is owned by the Dertour group.
During a press conference, FTI’s insolvency administrator, Axel Bierbach, had already announced that promising talks are underway regarding the sale of further companies. In this context, the Dertour group has now announced the acquisition of Anixe, underlining that the company’s 75 employees will be absorbed.
Anixe specializes in software-as-a-service products for airlines, tour operators, OTAs, travel agencies, bed banks and DMCs.
With this acquisition, the Dertour group makes a “targeted investment in its technological development”, according to a related announcement. It also lays the groundwork for future content enhancements to the reservation system.
Following the introduction of the new Atcom booking system, the Rewe subsidiary is currently focusing on expanding its smart interface solutions, which are expected to offer “even more content to sales associates” in the booking system in the future.
The acquisition is still subject to the approval of the competition authorities.
