The Architect Lab position and structure

From the outset, the space of the Architect Lab is consistent with the idea of innovation, featuring a fluid architecture, with small, asymmetrical, curved booths, joined in a perpendicular configuration, which create an actual innovation colony. Visitors to the Architect Lab enter the Lobby, including the Reception Desk and exhibitors Index Wall, a digital display panel with detailed information on the exhibition contents, facilitating navigation. This opens the way to The Islands, a free-form array of exhibition booths where architectural materials stand out under elaborate architectural lighting, drawing attention to points of interest. The two principal exhibition pathways lead respectively to The Plaza, the stage of live architectural talks and presentations.

Workshops & Case studies

The project will also include a stage where workshops will be taking place during the three days of the exhibition. Those workshops are structured around 3 main pillars (Tech, Design & Sustainability) and wish to create a point of reference for innovation and inspiration both for Architects as well as for the show’s visitors. There will be speeches from experienced and awarded architects and important representatives of the tourist industry from Greece and abroad. The aim is to present experiences and views that can significantly affect the future of the tourism industry and contribute substantially to the creative redesign of the Greek tourism product.
