The closure of the Aldiana Club Side Beach, in Side, Turkey, from 29 June 2025 until further notice, has been announced by the Dertour Group, describing the closure as “completely unexpected”.
The reason for the closure of the Aldiana Club relates to “legal disputes with the owner of the facility and a recent Turkish court decision”, according to the German tour operator, which, however, does not provide further details at the moment.
The facility must now be completely evacuated within the shortest possible time, but Dertour has so far “failed to find a solution despite intensive efforts”, as it points out.
According to Dertour, the closure of the Aldiana Club means for travel agencies and their customers:
– This development has no impact on guests who have, already, arrived and will be staying at the hotel until June 29, who will spend their holidays as planned and without restrictions.
– The Aldiana hotel chain is offering guests with arrival dates from Friday 20 June 2025 the possibility to rebook at another Aldiana Club. This will be done at no additional cost for the same room category and duration. Of course, the travel period can be changed upon request.
– It is also possible to rebook at another holiday resort in Turkey during the period of validity of the reservation at the Aldiana Club, Sidis.
– It is possible to cancel the holiday free of charge and get a full refund.
– The holidaymakers concerned will receive a discount of 100 euros per guest, and in case of cancellation, this amount will be issued as a travel voucher.
– New bookings for the Club in Sidi are not possible until further notice, while bookings for all other Aldiana Clubs are being taken as normal.
According to Dertour, the process of informing visitors and travel agency partners has already begun.
“Please understand that we give priority to guests whose arrival date is imminent. We are currently devoting all our energy to offering affected guests attractive alternatives to their planned holiday travel,” the tour operator said.
