EasyJet will be grounding the majority of its aircraft from Tuesday 24 March

AIR NEWS BUSINESS

Following the number of government restrictions and travel advice across its network, EasyJet will be grounding the majority of its aircraft from Tuesday 24 March onwards.

Customers will be contacted directly if their flight is disrupted with the options available to them. Where flights are canceled – and where local authorities allow –  rescue flights will be operated to repatriate customers. Details of the rescue flights can be found here

To book onto a rescue flight,  the passengers can visit Manage Bookings on easyJet.com or via the mobile app. If they are currently abroad, they are urged to rebook on a flight prior to Monday 23 March.

If they are unable to locate their preferred flight on the website or the app, it may already be full.  If that is the case, it is recommended to search for an alternative or, as the list of rescue flights is constantly being updated, to continually monitor the page.

If they are unable to book your rescue flight, then they should visit the airport where EasyJet’s Ground Crew will transfer them on to the next available flight.

For those that have booked through a tour operator, travel agent or OTA, it will be necessary to contact them directly. Worldwide customers affected should contact Dohop.
