Everty, a leading international hotel and real estate company, announces the acquisition of two five-star boutique resort hotels, Ydor Hotel & Spa and Porto Kea Suites Hotel & Spa, on the magnificent island of Kea in the Cyclades.Through this strategic move, Everty expands its portfolio and consolidates its commitment to offer premium hospitality experiences in prime locations.
Ydor Hotel & Spa and Porto Kea Suites Hotel & Spa, now owned by Everty and managed by Sandglass Hotels & Villas (the hotel arm of Everty), are currently the only five-star hotels on the ever-growing island of Kea. Kea, the luxurious suburb of Athens, is a true gem, ideal for easy getaways through frequent and short connections to the port of Lavrio, just 30 minutes from Athens International Airport. The island is distinguished for its relaxed style, its rich history, its many beautiful sandy beaches and its traditional settlements.
The brand new Ydor Hotel & Spa, designed for adults and couples, blends contemporary style with traditional island architecture. It offers 24 rooms and suites with stunning views of the Aegean Sea and is located at the beginning of the village of Vourkari, next to the picturesque Yaliskari beach. Facilities include private swimming pools, spa with heated indoor pool, sauna, hammam with treatment room, bar, restaurant, meeting room and parking facilities.
Porto Kea Hotel Suites & Spa is a beachfront resort for families on the eastern side of the sandy beach of Korissia, and features 38 spacious suites and rooms set in lush gardens. It offers a variety of amenities, including an outdoor pool, children’s pool, beach bar, restaurant, full-service spa, meeting room, and parking facilities.
Tourism in Greece is the most powerful pillar of the country’s economic growth, and Everty’s two acquisitions are in line with its upward trend. “This new milestone reflects our consistent strategy in Greece. In the first four years of the company we reached €100 million in investments. We continue to look at new opportunities, including development projects that will create value and strengthen local economies. With these new investments, we are validating our commitment to support the Greek economy,” says Nikolaos Roupakas, Everty’s Country Manager for Greece.
Everty’s unique portfolio in Greece places the company in a position of a major player in the hospitality and Real Estate sectors. Since 2020, it owns, develops and operates Adytum Villas in Porto Heli, four boutique resorts (Iconic Santorini Hotel in Santorini, Elounda Gulf Villas in Elounda, Crete, Ydor Hotel & Spa and Porto Kea Hotel Suites & Spa in Kea), three office buildings (ART1, AP10 in Maroussi and Metamorfosi Office Building in Metamorfosi) and two logistics centers in Aspropyrgos (Melissa Center and Mavro Lithari Center).
