According to the results of the open competitive bidding of the National Bank of Greece, Mitsis Group acquired, for 50.1 million euros, the five-star seaside resort of Rhodes, Grand Hotel, which is also known as ASTERAS RHODES.
Apart from Mitsis Group, the Vasilakis family from Rhodes participated in the bidding.
Money-tourism had already informed its readers that the open competitive bidding, which was held by the National Bank of Greece, was about the sale of the company Grand Hotel Summer Palace, which owns the five-star seaside hotel complex “Grand Hotel”.
The hotel operates under the auspices of Mitsis Group, which has rent it for a long period, since the 1990s, and the lease is ending the early years of the next decade.
It is reminded that the minimum bidding price (starting price of the bidding) for the acquisition of the company’s total stock amounted to € 35 million (thirty-five million euros).
