EXCLUSIVE: Significant candidacy for national elections, coming from Tourism

According to verified information, the President of New Democracy (ND), Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is expected to announce a significant candidacy for the national elections, that of Mrs. Christina Tetradi.

According to the information, Mrs. Tetradi’s candidacy in the Region of Zante is expected to be announced immediately in the first group of candidates announced by ND. That demonstrates the significance attributed to tourism sector by the party’s president.

Mrs. Tetradi, coming from Zante and from a traditionally tourism family, is a hotel owner with remarkable business, trade union and social action.

Christina Tetradi was born and grew up in Athens. She is married to Mr. Tasos Liaskos, former Tourism Deputy Minister and MP, and they have a daughter, Hara.

She studied Business Administration & Tourism at THAMES VALLEY UNIVERSITY (London) Sand has a Master’s degree in Marketing & Public Relations. She speaks English, French and German.

Mrs. Tetradi is an Entrepreneur – Hotelier, President and Managing Director of Zante Hospitality Group, which owns Zante Park Resort & Spa, member of BW Premier Collection and Galaxy Beach Resort, member of BW Premier Collection in Zante and XT  Travel Services in Athens.

In addition, she is Vice-President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, President of the Hoteliers Association of Zante, Vice-President of the Association of Greek Women in Tourism, member of the Board of Directors in Marketing Greece, SETE member (Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises), National Committee SKAL member and HCIMA member (Hotel & Catering International Management).

Her interviews about tourism issues have been broadcasted by international and national TV networks such as BBC, CNN, EURONEWS, ANTENA, NET, MEGA, ALPHA, STAR, SKAI. Her articles have been published in financial newspapers and tourism press such as Kathimerini, Vima, Naftemporiki, Money and Tourism, Kerdos etc.
