Atout France Italy is happy to announce the publication of France.fr, the new 2019 magazine in a brand new edition and new name, France.fr, which relates to the wealth of the French tourism website has a new, lighter, livelier and more dynamic graphics with many photos.
A perfect and up-to-date guide, an ideal travel companion for your next stay in France, either is a city break or longer vacations.
France.fr has a suggestive and evocative cover of an almost magical landscape referencing Leonardo da Vinci; it is in fact an image of the oniric open museum set up in the park of the Clos Lucé, where the Master has lived for the last three years of his life.
The Tuscan genius, whose 500th anniversary of death occurs this year, is the protagonist of the cover story dedicated to the Loire Valley, among itineraries, castles, and a detailed agenda of the events planned this year.
Afterwards it travels to Paris with an interesting article on the newest culinary spots, from the Beaupassage to the upcoming opening of Eataly. Then it goes to the French Riviera, Corsica, Alsace as well as to some creative and innovative cities, such as Nantes, Le Havre, Grenoble, Bordeaux, Tours… An overview of the cultural and historic wealth of France as destination including the discovery of the most evocative monuments and river tourism.
Moreover, France.fr covers the French innovation, savoir-faire, and creativity -which is a key to French tourism- with services dedicated to the new face of culture, to the architects who have transformed France, to active holidays, to nature, music, to Napoleon on the 250th anniversary of his birth. Food and wine are of course of great importance: We review unusual restaurants, domestic products, champagne, in addition to hospitality and services, and new hotel trends.
The strength of the magazine are the interviews. We present you the great chef Pierre Gagnaire, with three Michelin stars, and the “king of the macarons” Pierre Hermé.
To top it off, a calendar of this year’s main events in France and an overview of the guides dedicated to the Héxagone.
The magazine France.Fr is available online , and on the site of the Embassy of France in Greece.
Some copies are also available at the French Institute in Greece and the Hellenic French Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
