Goldair Group: 2025 – Year of Steady Growth and Strategic Outreach | Construction of Thriasio begins!

As another year of significant changes and international challenges comes to a close, the Goldair Group has managed to meet the demands of the modern business environment in 2025 with consistency, resilience, and strategic focus. Despite the geopolitical and economic turmoil that continues to affect the transportation, tourism, and supply chain industries, the Group has made significant strides, strengthened its portfolio, and taken steps that shape the future of its operations.

With new strategic partnerships, significant investments in infrastructure, equipment, and human resources, the Goldair Group continues to shape the landscape of the Greek and international market, laying a solid foundation for its sustainable development in the years to come.

Goldair S.A.

Goldair S.A. celebrated 70 years of operation this year in the field of airline representation for the promotion of air ticket and freight sales, maintaining its leading position in the market for another year. A significant addition to its clientele is the new partnership with the airline IndiGo, which will connect Greece with India for the first time with a direct flight starting in January 2026.

Goldair S.A..’s subsidiary, Sunrise Properties, has entered the hotel industry for the first time this year with the successful operation of Mykonos Flow hotel in Super Paradise, Mykonos. At the same time, the company continues to research the market for new investment moves in the hotel industry in major tourist destinations throughout Greece. Finally, it plans to expand its activities in the real estate development sector with the aim of constructing high-quality projects in the residential sector.

Travellair

Travellair continued its upward trend this year, further solidifying its position as a high-quality service provider in the tourism industry. With an expanded and highly significant corporate client base, the company specializes in comprehensive service for VIP and corporate travelers, while also providing exclusive services at airports.

Goldair Handling

Greece

Goldair Handling maintained its leading position in the Greek ground handling market, offering upgraded services, adequately covering the increased demand presented by Greek airports, mainly during the summer period. Timely planning of the operational project, combined with the reinforcement of human resources (also) from abroad, contributed to the smooth service of flights, which showed a 6% increase compared to 2024. The Cargo sector also moved upward, recording an impressive 29% increase, significantly boosted by e-commerce activity.

International Network

The company’s development in the Balkans was bolstered by a new strategic partnership with Ryanair in Bulgaria, making Goldair Handling the leading ground handling company in the neighboring country, doubling its operations in Sofia, while in Serbia, at the Belgrade airport, new partnerships were established with DHL and Turkish Airlines.

In Cyprus and India, Goldair Handling maintained its market share, while in Switzerland, following an international tender, it won one of the four ground handling licenses for the Zurich airport, successfully penetrating the Western/Central European market and enhancing its international reputation and recognition.

Investments

The company made investments in terrestrial equipment and facilities for another year, as part of the approved upgrade plan. New investments in ground equipment amounted to 12 million euros and include the addition of new, state-of-the-art passenger buses, as well as a significant upgrade of the fleet with electric supplies.

Additionally, the facilities and services at the 7 Goldair Handling premium passenger lounges in Greece were modernized with the goal of continuously improving the travel experience and expanding the clientele through new partnerships.

Goldair Handling confirms its commitment to openness, continuous development, strategic partnerships, and providing high-quality services.

Goldair Cargo

Goldair Cargo completed another year of development, managing to maintain a stable and strong presence in the market despite the geopolitical instability and economic challenges that affected the transportation and supply chain industry.

Confirming its commitment to continuous development and high-value-added investments, the company is proceeding within the year to construct a new 24,000-square-meter state-of-the-art logistics facility in Aspropyrgos, Attica, on a 50,000-square-meter plot of land. The total investment is expected to exceed 20 million euros, with a completion date set for 2027.

The new facility will include, among other things, temperature-controlled chambers, further enhancing Goldair Cargo’s ability to serve specialized cargo and meet the modern needs of its customers across the entire supply chain spectrum.

Goldair Cargo, Hellas Logistics, and Thriasio Freight Center, in collaboration with the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Enterprise Greece, participated dynamically in Transport Logistic 2025, the world’s leading logistics and transportation exhibition, held from June 2 to 5 in Munich.

With their participation in the exhibition, the group strengthened its international presence and contributed to the promotion of Greece’s strategic geographic position and its role as a gateway for the supply chain and logistics in Southeast Europe.

Goldair Rail

Goldair Rail has shown steady financial progress in the rail transportation sector, mainly due to its logistics activities. However, the railway project remained limited due to problems with the network and the lack of modern operational infrastructure.

Thriassio Logistics Center

2025 was a year of good news for the Thriasio Logistics Center. The Company successfully closed its last licensing issues and completed negotiations with the American State Investment Bank (DFC) and Piraeus Bank for the €300 million bond loan.

He also successfully completed the process of changing Manufacturer. Consequently, the construction work will begin within 2026, with a completion horizon of four years and a gradual delivery of the warehouses from 18 months from the start of the project.

The THΕK S.A. is the largest and most modern freight center in Southeast Europe, covering an area of 265,000 sq. m.
