Hotel brand with presence in Greece, at the top of luxury hotel brands worldwide

HOTELS REPORTS WORLD

Mandarin Oriental was ranked number one in the ranking of the world’s top hotel brands by Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI). The world-renowned hotel chain, which has a presence in Greece with the Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino, and is planning to expand in Athens with the opening of the Mandarin Oriental Athens, in Elliniko, topped the ranking for the second year.

To rank the world’s best hotel chains, LTI has, over the past 12 months, applied a rigorously defined algorithm that measures the performance and values of luxury hotel brands. This algorithm has 130 touchpoints related to the luxury hotel sector and each has its own score, with a total, maximum, cumulative score of 4663.

Touchpoints are related to the overall brand performance and not the performance of individual hotel units. The focus is on a brand’s ability to live up to its passion, commitment, ethos and values, as well as the quality of its management and staff. Ongoing investments and how they are leveraged are also important factors, particularly in terms of new hotels and the refurbishment of existing hotels.

The final list of hotel brands has been expanded from 12 to 15 this year, and brands must have at least eight hotels to be selected, up from ten previously.

Mandarin Oriental has been named the best luxury hotel brand in the world as 2024 has improved many of the touch points, particularly with new openings, which are consistently impressive.

It is an attractive brand with a loyal and growing following ,who value its commitment to excellence.
