HRADF: Submission of Expression of Interest by nine Interested Parties for the Heraklion Port Authority S.A.

BUSINESS MONEY ORGANIZATIONS

The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), a member of the HCAP Group, announces that nine Interested Parties have submitted an Expression of Interest for the acquisition of a majority stake of at least 67% of the “Heraklion Port Authority” (HPA S.A.).

Expressions of Interest were submitted by the following Interested Parties (in alphabetical order):

  • Consortium composed of the companies AKTOR CONCESSIONS S.A – ATTICA GROUP
  • Consortium “GRAY PIER HERAKLION PORT”, composed of the companies INDUSTRIAL & HOTEL ENTERPRISES S.A. – H. KIRIAKIDIS MARBELS-GRANITES S.A.
  • Consortium composed of the companies GEK TERNA S.A. – AVIAREPS HELLAS S.A.
  • Consortium composed of the companies GRIMALDI EUROMED S.p.A. – MINOAN LINES SHIPPING S.A.
  • Consortium composed of the companies PORTEK INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED – GPH CRUISE PORT FINANCE LTD.
  • Consortium composed of the companies SEKAVIN S.A. – GOLDENSTEP SHIPPING LIMITED
  • OLETE LMITED
  • TEKAL S.A.
  • THESSALONIKI PORT AUTHORITY S.A.

HRADF’s advisors will evaluate the aforementioned Expressions of Interest and submit their recommendation to the Fund’s Board of Directors regarding the candidates that qualify for the next phase of the tender (binding offers phase).

The Heraklion Port Authority has the right to exclusively use and operate the buildings, land and facilities of the port land-side zone of Heraklion’s port by virtue of a concession agreement with the Hellenic Republic.

ΟLETE (Cyprus) A privately owned company, registered in Cyprus.
ThPA – Thessaloniki Port Authority S.A It the Port Authority that manages the largest port of Northern Greece, that of Thessaloniki, under a Concession Agreement with the Hellenic Republic. OLTH is an ATHEX-listed company that is managed by a consortium of Deutsche Invest Equity Partners GmbH (DIEP) / Terminal Link / Belterra since 2018.
TEKAL S.A TEKAL S.A. is a Greek construction company with expertise in marine construction as well as in specialized construction projects, operating in civil engineering, building, mechanical and various services related to these sectors throughout the country and in the wider are of S. Europe.
