On a glittering evening more than 1,000 guests enjoyed the inauguration of the Mouzenidis Group’s Enigma Mall Shopping Center in N. Moudania, Halkidiki, on Saturday, April 29th, in the presence of representatives of the local government, broadcasters, foreign diplomats , businessmen, hoteliers and associates. This is one of the biggest commercial investments made this year in Halkidiki.
It is the only Shopping Center in Greece, which, in addition to selling a wide variety of goods, also permanently exhibits sculptures by well-known Greek and foreign artists.
Following the standard “agiosmos” blessing, Mr. Boris Mouzenidis, and the Regional Governor of Central Macedonia, Mr. Apostolos Tzitzikostas cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the Center.
Enigma Mall Manager, Mr. Tasos Bozidis, told the attendees that “The brand new Enigma Mall is a high quality center with 37 stores employing 200 staff from the area and covers all needs of tourists. But it also has a large indoor multipurpose room, a currency exchange, a gourmet restaurant /café, a playground, and plenty of parking in addition to outdoor facilities for relaxation. We are also very proud that renowned sculptors have trusted their precious creations to Enigma Mall, following the collaboration of the Mouzenidis Group with the well-known art and auction firm Myrò Antiques House which has allowed our visitors to admire and buy them. ”
Mr. Tzitzikostas in his greeting said, “Enigma Mall is a state-of-the-art commercial enterprise that combines trade and culture in an innovative way. People like Mr. Boris Mouzenidis who have given themselves to promote the tourist product of the region and invest their money here in Greece and supplying the region with jobs, need the support of all of us. ”
The Mayor of Nea Propontida, Emmanouil Karras, also welcomed the creation of the Enigma Mall in his Municipality and thanked the President of the Mouzenidis Group, as the new shopping center will contribute to the reduction of unemployment in the area.
The renowned singer Ilias Kabakakis, the Virtuosos musical band, the Cretan Orchestra directed by George Magglelakis, and dancer from the Union of Cretan Students of Thessaloniki, MC’d by Mrs Chrysa Autara, entertained the guests to their great enthusiasm.
The highlights of the inauguration ceremony were streamed live by the social media of the Mouzenidis Group.
Fireworks at the end of the night illuminated the sky of Halkidiki, completing in the most impressive way the successful start of the new shopping center whose goal is to make a difference in the market of Northern Greece.
