Mitsis Hotels Group recognized in “The most sustainable companies in Greece” for 2022

MITSIS HOTELS was distinguished for its responsible operation among the “31 Most Sustainable Companies in Greece” for 2022, in the ceremony held on February 7th by the QualityNet Foundation.

The Group’s new holistic CSR programme entitled ‘A story of change’ includes a variety of actions to address key contemporary industry challenges, contributing 5% of its annual net profit to social actions.

The Group’s dedication is reflected in the programme’s 5 pillars:

  • Enriched by everyone: Enhancement of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), continuous development of its 3,500 employees.

  • Concerned about the planet: Minimisation of the environmental footprint of its 17 hotels and protection of biodiversity in its 5 destinations.

Mitsis Hotels stood out as the sole hotel company to be included in the distinction. The evaluation committees of the QualityNet Foundation took into consideration the Group’s business impact according to environmental, social and governance ‘ESG’ criteria, the initiatives implemented, the development of stakeholder engagement and the disclosure and verification of non-financial performance measures.
