Aspiring to offer a rich entertainment programme according to the needs of its guests, Mitsis Hotels, Greece’s largest privately-owned hotel chain, partners with the Real Madrid Foundation, hosting a football coaching programme for its young guests staying at its hotels in Rhodes in 2021.
The Group has already announced the launch of season 2021 with the reopening of 9 hotel units – Alila Resort & Spa, Grand Hotel, Faliraki and Rodos Village in Rhodes, Blue Domes Resort & Spa and Ramira in Kos, Laguna Resort & Spa and Rinela in Crete by the end of May, as well as
Galini Wellness Spa & Resort in the mainland on June 12th – while all 17 hotel units will open gradually.
This new partnership will offer young friends of Mitsis Hotels the opportunity to receive world-class training delivered directly by Real Madrid Foundation Clinic youth development coaches and will be a real experience for children, during which they will be able to make friends from all over the world, master their soccer skills and live their dream.
Guests staying at Mitsis Hotels in Rhodes – Alila Resort & Spa, Faliraki Beach Hotel & Spa, Grand Hotel, La Vita Beach Hotel, Petit Palais Beach Hotel, Rodos Maris Resort & Spa and Rodos Village Beach Hotel & Spa will be able to participate in the camp. The trainings are designed for kids and teenagers between the ages of 6 to 17 and will be held on Kiotari’s football field, in Kiotari, Rhodes, for 6 weeks, from July 10th to August 20th, 2021. Football sessions will occur 3 times daily for 3 different age groups with a total of 75 children per week.
The presentation of the programme took place in an online Press Conference attended by the Group’s Managing Director, Stavros Mitsis, CEO of Be Free Football, Zlatko Maric, veteran Alvaro Arbeloa and representatives of the Real Madrid Foundation. Mr. Mitsis stated that “We are proud of this global partnership with RMF and are ready to offer a unique football summer to our young guests in Rhodes, always giving priority to the health and safety of our guests and staff and the implementation of a detailed prevention plan for every hotel area and world-class health & safety measures”.
Mr Julio Gonzalez, Managing Director of Real Madrid Foundation also stated “This is the first year that we collaborate with Be Free Football and Mitsis Hotels, with the objective of giving the opportunity to more than 300 youngsters from Rhodes to study and play football, following our methodology and values”.
