On February 14th, NEW Hotel invites you to celebrate love with a unique culinary journey

Love and art are one of the most powerful pairs in history, with love being an endless source of inspiration and art not only capturing but also creating emotions… It is also true that love always goes through the stomach.

On February 14th we invite you to NEW Hotel to celebrate with us love and its “routes” with a special menu created especially for this evening by the Executive Chef of the hotel, Babis Kountouris.

Gastronomy, but also relationships “require” delicate balances, strong surprises and inspiring combinations. That’s why at Art Lounge, in a place where gastronomy and art coexist, we invite you to try unexpected but harmonious culinary proposals, such as the grilled calamari with beetroot risotto and orange, or the beef fillet with carrot puree and violet liqueur.

Make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable. Invite your loved one to a romantic dinner at Art Lounge where contemporary art and design set the tone, while enjoying stunning views of downtown Athens.

The NEW Hotel

The NEW Hotel enjoys a privileged location between the traditional district of Plaka and the modern commercial centre of Athens. A bridge between the historical and modern side of the city. The design of the hotel was curated by the award-winning designer duo from Brazil, Fernando and Humberto Campana in collaboration with architecture students from the University of Thessaly. Together, they created a team in the logic of a workshop within the hotel, marrying design innovation with indigenous elements of cultural tradition. A typical example is the use of folk tradition objects, directly linked to Athens, which were recreated in three contemporary, artistic ideas, decorating the hotel rooms: Historical postcards of Athens, characteristic glass constructions for protection from the “evil eye” and figures from the shadow theatre based on “Karagiozis” gave a modern expression of folklore. The team also focused on using and recycling the abandoned furniture, fixtures and materials from the old Olympic Palace that stood on this site, with the aim of recreating them into something more modern and bold.

The YES! Hotels

YES! Hotels Group consists of 4 hotels: NEW Hotel, Semiramis Hotel, Periscope Hotel and NOŪS in Santorini. The creation of YES! Hotels came as a result of the inspiration to create a fresh, enthusiastic and captivating hospitality experience. At the same time, it was a commitment to a new form of integrating art within hospitality. NEW Hotel in Syntagma harmoniously incorporates the combination of the traditional and contemporary elements of the Athenian neighborhood, designed by Brazilian designers Campana Brothers in collaboration with a team of architecture students from the University of Thessaly. The Semiramis Hotel, which is the first hotel of the YES! Group, was designed by the renowned Karim Rashid, presenting an innovative design in the Kifissia area. The Periscope Hotel in Kolonaki is characterized by its urban design with the city element playing a prominent role in every part of the hotel. The role of art in the guest experience of YES! hotels expresses the Group’s timeless dedication to high quality hospitality, based on local traditions and culture through a contemporary perspective. In this context, the YES! Hotels was inspired to create NOŪS, a luxury resort where contemporary art, authentic design and absolute privacy take centre stage.
