RYANAIR: Increase in customers and traffic compared to 2023


Ryanair shows a spectacular increase in its flights and also in the number of customers who book to travel with this airline, if we compare the data in March 2023 with those of 2024.

In March 2024, Ryanair, Europe’s leading airline, experienced a remarkable surge in passenger numbers. A total of 13.6 million guests took to the skies, marking an impressive 8% increase compared to March 2023. During this period, Ryanair operated over 77,000 flights, although nearly 950 flights had to be canceled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict.

Looking at rolling figures, the trend continues positively for Ryanair, with a total of 183.7 million passengers in the year leading up to March 2024, reflecting a 9% increase compared to the previous year. The load factor for this period also saw a slight uptick, rising from 93% to 94%, indicating improved operational efficiency.
