With the festive season coming in fast, Ryanair, revealed its top Christmas Market destinations to inspire your Winter 2024 travel plans.
Poznań: Located in the heart of Poznań, the Poznań Christmas Markets are recognised as the best in Poland, boasting a unique atmosphere with stunning holiday decorations and over 43,000 LED lights. Highlights include a 16-meter Christmas tree, a beautiful 30-meter Ferris wheel, the city’s only outdoor ice rink, and more than 70 shopping and dining options.
Budapest: The Advent Basilica has been voted the Best Christmas Market in Europe 3 years in a row. This stunning fair sits in front of St. Stephen’s Basilica, one of Budapest’s most beautiful squares. Celebrating 15 years, the Advent Basilica promises a festive atmosphere with around 100 local craft exhibitors, traditional Hungarian cuisine, an ice-skating rink, and heartwarming musical and charity programs, plus many surprises.
Copenhagen: The city centre of Copenhagen hosts the Christmas markets at the Tivoli Gardens. A Ferris wheel spins through the evening’s darkness surrounded by leafless trees and an ice-skating rink for the most adventurous spirits.
