This year’s awards saw Sani Resort win in three categories in total, including Europe’s Leading Family Resort and Greece’s Leading Family Resort, acknowledging the brand’s ongoing commitment to excellence.
The World Travel Awards recognises, rewards and celebrates brilliance and is considered globally as a hallmark of industry excellence. Speaking of Sani Resort’s success, COO of Sani Resort, Dimitris Kontos, has said: “After winning in the European and Greek categories earlier this year, we are delighted to have now also won in a World category. These awards are a tribute to the team, and we are truly honoured to have been acknowledged and celebrated on a global scale this year. As always, we thank all those who voted for us and for the ongoing support from our guests.”
This win comes at the end of a hugely successful 2019 season for Sani Resort, which saw the award-winning destination launch a whole host of new experiences for guests and win numerous awards, including with Condé Nast Traveller, Connoisseur Circle and Trip Advisor. New offerings for this year included a brand-new partnership with Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy; a collaboration with the world’s number one chef, Mauro Colagreco; and the introduction of Sani Suite Collection.
