The May issue of the world renowned travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller (UK edition) presents a 12-page article on Sifnos, with special emphasis on the culinary character of the island. Titled “The most delicious Greek island of all”, the article beautifully describes the island and the life on it andaccurately depicts its distinctive atmosphere, while presenting the special culinary pleasures it offers. The title also appears on the cover of the magazine.

Rachel Howard, writer of the article and famous food editor, and David Loftus, award winning photographer responsible for the wonderful photos of the article, were invited to come to Sifnos last summer by the Verina Group. As mentioned in the text, the Verina team accompanied Rachel and David in their tour on the island tipping them off about the big and small secrets that make Sifnos so unique.

This extended article on Sifnos represents an important promotion for the island and a big success of the Verina team, as initially the plan provided for a much smaller article. But the passion of the Verina team for the island and their work,as well as their deep knowledge, inspired the team of Condé Nast Traveller resulting in this extensive article in the last issue of the magazine, which included many flattering references to the Verina Suites &Verina AstraHotels and the Verina Villa.

The British edition of Condé Nast Traveller has 335,000 readers each month, an audience of high socioeconomic profile that loves luxury travel and represents an ideal target group for further developing tourism on Sifnos.
