Six hot destinations for 2019 | Turkey included

TOURISM WORLD

The travelweekly present the 6 hottest destinations for 2019 and, according to the data, these are the following:

Japan

International sport events is undoubtedly a way to attract visitors, and Japan hosts two of them: the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. Moreover, there is high interest for classic places, such as Tokyo.

Turkey

The year 2019 seems to be a very good year for Turkey with adventure travels and operator packages to be on the increase. Turkey has become the most rapidly growing destination for intrepid travels -that means adventure travels- showing an impressive increase by 215% in global bookings. Explore and KE Adventure also added Turkey to the categories of family holidays in Cappadocia and of active winter holidays.

Zimbabwe

The African destination is one of the hottest destinations for 2019. The impressive Hwange in the West and the Mana Pools in the North offer a unique experience to the visitors, while the Zimbabwe medieval trait is evident.

Uzbekistan

Adding e-visa to Uzbekistan for UK residents, can explain the reason that G Adventures has increased by 72%. The operator has also added 3 new tours for 2019. Adventure tourism has shown a high increase, too.

Australia

The Qantas direct connection from Heathrow to Peth, starting on March, contributed to Australia’s selection as holiday destination. Travellers’ preference has contributed to the overall continent’s tourism upgrade.

Croatia

Croatia offers coastal scenes, tasty food and a lifestyle corresponding to the Italian or France one, but at croatian prices. David Scillicorn, by Prestige Holidays, said: “Croatia remains one of the most popular destinations, so new remarkable proposals are constantly offered for that destination”.
