The 23rd FEG European Tourist Guides’ Meeting and the Annual General Assembly of the FEG Member Countries’ Representatives will take place from 19 to 24 November 2024 in Rhodes.
This annual event is open to certified guides from Greece and from FEG member associations across Europe and is an excellent opportunity for guides to meet, network, experience the sites and beauties of Rhodes during the low season, attend lifelong training seminars for guides by FEG certified trainers, as well as relax and enjoy the local gastronomy and Greek hospitality.
The guides will attend guided tours that will be offered in Rhodes by the island’s diplomatic guides, who are the local ambassadors of their region, trained and certified by the Ministry of Tourism.
The European meeting is organised by the Association of Diplomatic Guides of the Dodecanese, member of the Panhellenic Guides Federation (POXEN), which in turn is the FEG member for Greece. The event is supported by the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Rhodes.
The European Federation of Guides’ Associations (FEG), founded in 1986, represents many thousands of certified guides in most European countries as the only professional umbrella organisation based in France. It is the European voice of official guides with representation in all European institutions and the European Union.
