Thomas Cook has joined rival OTA On the Beach, offering low-cost Ryanair flights as part of its holiday programme.
The agreement, which follows the acquisition of Thomas Cook by the Polish group eSky, allows the airline’s flights to be booked as part of holiday packages on the airline’s UK website.
Ryanair flights will also be available on the airline’s European websites as part of a plan to more than double sales next year.
Thomas Cook customers now have access to all Ryanair routes from the UK for winter 2024 and next year, including city breaks, beach holidays and ski trips.
The move follows Ryanair’s partnership with Paxport, which secured ‘Approved OTA Aggregator’ status, allowing it to integrate its existing partners.
Thomas Cook is the first Paxport partner to adopt integration as part of its ambitious growth plans following its acquisition by eSky.
Speaking about this, Thomas Cook’s director of aviation, Trevor Bates, said: “We have been working with Paxport since they announced their partnership to integrate Ryanair flights as soon as possible. With access now to thousands of low cost flights to some of the most popular city and beach destinations in Europe and North Africa, we know our customers will be delighted to have the widest choice of airlines.”
Paxport’s head of commercial, Simon Taylor, added: “Paxport’s integration with Ryanair and working with the Thomas Cook team has been a hugely successful demonstration of partnership and collaboration. With a clear demand for Ryanair flights and through the use of proven technology, we are excited to support our customers by offering connectivity to an increasing number of travel businesses.”
