TUI Germany rewards vacationers with additional credit

TOURISM TRAVEL WORLD

TUI will reward travelers whose vacation was canceled by April 30, 2020, due to the corona pandemic with additional credit. TUI is increasing the travel credit by up to 150 euros per booking.

“Our guests want to continue traveling, and we would like to reward all holidaymakers with canceled bookings if they decide on a new date with their travel credit and stay connected to TUI,” says Hubert Kluske, Managing Director Sales and Marketing TUI Germany.

Vacationers who book their next trip by the end of June can save an additional 400 euros as a family with four travelers – thanks to the TUI loyalty bonus of up to 100 euros per person. With the additional credit for travel credit, travelers secure advantages of over 500 euros.

“With their decision for the TUI travel credit, our guests support our partners in particular – regardless of whether it is the personal travel agency, the tour guides in the holiday resorts, or the hoteliers or restaurateurs and their families on the most beautiful beaches in the world. TUI is currently in talks with the governments of many vacation countries, who are now preparing for the vacation “to Corona” as well as possible and are doing everything so that the guests can return soon, “added Kluske.

At the beginning of April, TUI had already released the summer of 2021 for booking. Holidaymakers who had to do without their planned trips now have the option of booking the coming summer with TUI in addition to the summer and winter of this year and thus benefit from greater flexibility when planning their trips.

With the travel credit, TUI is also orienting itself to the proposals of the federal government, which is campaigning for a voucher solution in Brussels. With the TUI travel credit, travelers can benefit from additional incentives until December 31, 2021 and even get “more vacation” compared to their original booking. If no new trip is booked by the end of next year, the outstanding amount will be paid out, if desired in advance.

In the summer of 2021, the world’s leading tour operator will focus primarily on the popular holiday regions around the Mediterranean such as Spain, Greece and Egypt, but around 2,000 hotels in Germany, Austria and Croatia are already available today. Popular destinations such as Thailand and Tanzania can be booked almost completely in the long-haul destinations. Many of the TUI brands are among the more than 10,000 hotels that can be booked. For example, all clubs from TUI Magic Life and Robinson are available, as well as numerous hotels of the brands TUI Blue, TUI Suneo and RIU, but also partner hotels from Atlantica and JAZ. In addition, the majority of the popular TUI Kids Club concept hotels are activated in the systems.

The entire program can be booked both in the TUI travel agencies and online. The branches are currently closed, but the travel experts are still there for their customers and advise by phone and email.
