AIR NEWS TOURISM TRAVEL WORLD

TUIfly is the first German airline to announce its flight schedule for the 2021 summer season. The offer includes around 4.5 million seats, more than half of which are in the Greek islands, especially Crete and Rhodes, as well as in the Canaries. However, the leader in the program remains Mallorca.

“Due to the worldwide spread of the coronavirus, many trips cannot take place as planned. We, therefore, prefer booking clearance for the summer of 2021 in order to offer our passengers additional flexibility and security when planning their trip, so that they can postpone the long-awaited break until a later date. Whether to Cape Verde, Cyprus or Kos – now is the time of anticipation, and we are supplying the right flight plan for 25 popular summer destinations, ” says Oliver Lackmann, Managing Director TUIfly GmbH.

The white and blue Boeing 737s will again take off next year from 13 departure airports in Germany and Switzerland on around 460 weekly flights to the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, Portugal, Egypt, and Morocco. The largest contingent with more than 830,000 seats in the sun and back is at Düsseldorf Airport, which remains the largest TUI fly station, closely followed by the airports in Frankfurt/Main and Hanover. In addition, TUI fly is heading south from Berlin, Basel, Cologne/Bonn, Karlsruhe/Baden, Hamburg, Munich, Nuremberg, Paderborn-Lippstadt, Saarbrücken and Stuttgart.

Passengers who book a flight with TUI fly during the promotion until April 16 2020, and want to freeze their booking between May 2020 and September 2020 (except Tunisia) will benefit from a free rebooking option to make it easier to plan their next vacation. If necessary, it is possible to rebook flights to the end of the 2021 summer flight schedule to ensure a carefree holiday.
