Forecasts for this year’s tourist season in Greece are positive as the President of the Hellenic American Chamber of Tourism, Mr. G. Trivizas, pointed out at the recent New York Times Travel Show.
Globus is at a 20% increase in pre-bookings, Gate One at 30%, Homeric at 29% and Colette at 30%. However, the final picture will be affected by the developments in Middle East and the coronavirus.
Mr. Trivizas met with Tour Operators and international mass media operators, such as NBC, CONDE NAST TRAVELER, ABC. He also discussed with the exhibition management the potential of synergies concerning the organization of familiarization FAM /PRESS Trips in Greece in Greece as well as forthcoming ULTIMATE ROAD SHOW / USA Travel Agents Educational Seminars 2020, covering most tourist cities in Greece.
