display: block; float: none;\"\/><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The busiest day ever for the airport in terms of arrivals was recorded on 2 September, when more than 140,500 passengers landed at Heathrow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">September 2023 was the first month in the airport&#8217;s history that the London-based, aviation hub exceeded seven million passengers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In a statement, Heathrow&#8217;s chief executive, Thomas Woldbye, said: &#8220;We are rounding off our brilliant summer successfully, with over 30 million passengers passing through Heathrow&#8217;s doors in the last four months.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">British Airways will resume flights from the airport to the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, in the summer of 2025, after a hiatus of more than a decade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The airline will also operate more than 400 direct flights per week to North America next summer to 26 cities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Meanwhile, Manchester Airport is celebrating a milestone after reporting 30.1 million passengers in the last 12 months, with September being the 12th record month in a row.
