Στην αναβάθμιση της Γαλλίας προχωράει το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, μετακινώντας τη χώρα από την “πορτοκαλί+” ταξιδιωτική του λίστα στην “πορτοκαλί”, που σημαίνει ότι, οι πλήρως εμβολιασμένοι ταξιδιώτες, που επιστρέφουν στην Αγγλία, τη Σκωτία και τη Βόρεια Ιρλανδία από τη Γαλλία δεν θα χρειάζεται πλέον να μπαίνουν σε καραντίνα. Την ίδια στιγμή καμία αλλαγή δεν ανακοινώθηκε για την Ισπανία, αλλά και την Ελλάδα, οι οποίες παραμένουν στην “πορτοκαλί” λίστα, ενώ η Τουρκία εξακολουθεί να είναι “κόκκινη”. Η εξέλιξη αυτή, μαζί με την “παραίτηση” από τα σχέδια για δημιουργία amber+ blacklist, είναι πολύ θετικά για τον ελληνικό Τουρισμό, καθώς αναμένεται άμεσα η έναρξη σημαντικών ροών τουριστών από την Βρετανία στην Ελλάδα και η επόμενη αναθεώρηση θα γίνει σε 3 εβδομάδες εκτός απροόπτου, οπότε ο Αύγουστος θα κυλίσει “ανέφελα”.

Στις τελευταίες ανακοινώσεις της βρετανικής κυβέρνησης, στο πλαίσιο του συστήματος φωτεινού σηματοδότη, η μεγάλη αλλαγή είναι αυτή της Γαλλία, η οποία μετακινείται στην “πορτοκαλί” λίστα, που σημαίνει ότι δεν θα τίθενται σε καραντίνα οι ταξιδιώτες που εισέρχονται στη Βρετανία από τη χώρα. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι η Γαλλία προστέθηκε στην “πορτοκαλί+” λίστα τον περασμένο μήνα εν μέσω ανησυχιών για τη μετάλλαξη Delta του κορωνοϊού, την οποία οι επιστήμονες πιστεύουν ότι μπορεί να είναι πιο ανθεκτική στα εμβόλια.

Κατά τα άλλα, η Ελλάδα παραμένει στην “πορτοκαλί” λίστα, το ίδιο και η Ισπανία, παρά τα όσα ακούγονταν τις τελευταίες ημέρες για υποβάθμισή της, επιτρέποντας στους ταξιδιώτες που είναι πλήρως εμβολιασμένοι να συνεχίσουν να απολαμβάνουν τα ταξίδια τους στη χώρα, αφού κατά την επιστροφή του στο Ην. Βασίλειο δεν θα πρέπει να τεθούν σε καραντίνα. Ωστόσο, οι ταξιδιώτες που φτάνουν στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο από την Ισπανία συμβουλεύονται τώρα να κάνουν ένα τεστ PCR -και όχι τα φθηνότερα τεστ αντιγόνου- πριν από την αναχώρησή τους ως προφύλαξη έναντι του αυξημένου επιπολασμού του ιού και των μεταλλάξεων στη χώρα”.

Εν τω μεταξύ επτά ευρωπαϊκές χώρες προστέθηκαν στην “πράσινη” ταξιδιωτική λίστα της βρετανικής κυβέρνησης. Αυτές είναι οι: Αυστρία, Γερμανία, Σλοβενία, Σλοβακία, Λετονία, Ρουμανία και Νορβηγία.

Το Μπαχρέιν, το Κατάρ και τα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα έχουν μεταφερθεί από την “κόκκινη” λίστα στην “πορτοκαλί”, αντίθετα το Μεξικό μαζί με τη Γεωργία και τα γαλλικά νησιά του Ινδικού Ωκεανού, La Reunion και Mayotte, προστίθενται στην “κόκκινη” λίστα, καθώς θεωρούνται ότι είναι προορισμοί υψηλότερου κινδύνου.

Οι αλλαγές αυτές, που θα τεθούν σε ισχύ από τις 04:00 π.μ., στις 8 Αυγούστου, αυξάνουν τον συνολικό αριθμό των χωρών και προορισμών, που προστίθενται στην “πράσινη” λίστα, από 29 σε 36.

“Δεσμευόμαστε να ανοίξουμε με ασφάλεια τα διεθνή ταξίδια, εκμεταλλευόμενοι τα οφέλη που έχουμε πετύχει μέσω του επιτυχημένου προγράμματος εμβολιασμού, βοηθώντας τη σύνδεση οικογενειών, φίλων και επιχειρήσεων σε όλο τον κόσμο”, είπε ο Βρετανός γραμματέας μεταφορών Grant Shapps.

Από την πλευρά του ο υπουργός Υγείας του Ην. Βασιλείου, Sajid Javid, είπε: “Ενώ με τις αλλαγές μετακινήθηκαν περισσότερες χώρες στην “πράσινη” λίστα, οι προσθήκες στην “κόκκινη” λίστα απέδειξαν ότι εξακολουθεί να υπάρχει ανάγκη για προσοχή προκειμένου να προστατευθεί η επιτυχία της διάθεσης των εμβολίων μας”. “Τα εμβόλια έχουν ήδη αποτρέψει περίπου 60.000 θανάτους και 22 εκατομμύρια λοιμώξεις στην Αγγλία, και με πάνω από 7 στους 10 ενήλικες στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο να είναι πλήρως εμβολιασμένοι ‘χτίζουμε’ τώρα ένα τείχος άμυνας κατά της ασθένειας”, πρόσθεσε.

“Τσιμπάει” το κόστος διαμονής στα ξενοδοχεία καραντίνας

Εκτός από τις αλλαγές στο σύστημα φωτεινού σηματοδότη, το κόστος διαμονής σε ξενοδοχείο καραντίνας, που είναι υποχρεωτικό εάν κάποιος φτάνει στο Ην. Βασίλειο από χώρα της “κόκκινης” λίστας, αυξάνεται, όπως είχε γράψει το ΧΡΗΜΑ & ΤΟΥΡΙΣΜΟΣ, με την τιμή για τους ενήλικες ταξιδιώτες να διαμορφώνεται από 1.750 £ σε 2.285 £, από τις 12 Αυγούστου και σε 1.430 £ για έναν δεύτερο ενήλικα. Το κόστος αυτό, σύμφωνα με τη βρετανική κυβέρνηση περιλαμβάνει τη μεταφορά στο ξενοδοχείο, τη διαμονή, την ασφάλεια, την παροχή υπηρεσιών και τα δύο τεστ PCR, που πρέπει να διεξαχθούν κατά τη δεύτερη και την όγδοη ημέρα της διαμονής. Τα παιδιά ηλικίας 5-12 ετών θα εξακολουθούν να κοστίζουν 325 £, ενώ  για παιδιά ηλικίας κάτω των πέντε ετών είναι δωρεάν.

Η Σκωτία και η Βόρεια Ιρλανδία επιβεβαίωσαν ότι θα υιοθετήσουν τις ίδιες αλλαγές με την Αγγλία, όμως, η κυβέρνηση της Ουαλίας επέκρινε την “ad-hoc φύση” των ταξιδιωτικών αποφάσεων της βρετανικής κυβέρνησης, υποστηρίζοντας πως θα εξετάσει αν θα ακολουθήσει τις τελευταίες αλλαγές. Σύμφωνα με την ίδια, η οδηγία προς τους πολίτες της είναι να μην πραγματοποιούνται μη απαραίτητα ταξίδια στο εξωτερικό λόγω του συνεχιζόμενου κινδύνου μόλυνσης με τον ιό.
