ITA Airways adds new destination Mauritius and flights to Bangkok

ITA Airways has announced a new route for Winter 2025- 2026: the Rome Fiumicino – Mauritius flight. This new flight operated with the Airbus A330neo, will be inaugurated on November 7, 2025.

The two weekly frequencies:

  • Departure from Rome Fiumicino on Fridays and Sundays at 10:00 PM (local time), arriving in Mauritius at 11:20 AM (local time) the following day.
  • Departure from Mauritius on Saturdays and Mondays at 10:10 PM (local time), arriving in Rome Fiumicino at 06:40 AM (local time) the following day.

Flight ensures excellent connections from/to Athens.

ITA Airways launched in November 2024 a new direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Bangkok, serviced by the A330neo. In Summer Season the flight is operated with 3 weekly frequencies, with departures from Rome Fiumicino on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, while departures from Bangkok are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with convenient connections from/to Athens.

The A330neo, a ‘pinnacle’ for the Company in terms of technology, digitalization, innovation, efficiency, and design and a true showcase of “Made in Italy.” It features an Airspace cabin that maximizes comfort and spaciousness, with new, sophisticated lighting and onboard entertainment systems, and complete Wi-Fi connectivity. The aircraft offers three classes: Business (30 reclining seats), Premium Economy (24 seats), and Economy (237 seats, including 36 Comfort Economy seats).
