Springer Reisen offers twice-weekly flights with Sky express from Vienna via Athens to Naxos in summer 2025.
The demand for departures from Vienna is constantly increasing, explains CEO Andrea Springer in an interview with tip-daily.
For this reason, the offer has been significantly expanded for the coming summer. The focus is on connections with the Greek Sky express.
For the period from the beginning of June to mid-September, the Carinthian tour operator has agreed fixed rates on connections from Vienna to Athens and then to Naxos, Paros and Milos. This means that prices remain more or less fixed – at least until the end of February. Another advantage is that through tickets can be booked from Austria to the Greek islands. Passengers have the choice of checking their luggage through or collecting it themselves in Athens and checking it in again for the onward flight. The connections can be booked in Bistro, Cets and other systems as package holidays.
Another advantage of the new partnership is that Naxos is offered twice a week from Vienna, on Saturdays and Tuesdays, via Athens. This, in combination with the comprehensive range of webhotels, ensures great flexibility and also provides a good basis for island hopping. In addition, Paros and Milos are also served from Vienna via Athens on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The charter connections from Graz and Klagenfurt to Paros will remain as before with AvantiAir. Skiathos will be served from Linz and Graz, also with AvantiAir. Skiathos is also back on the programme from Munich. The flight from Graz to Karpathos remains with Eurowings.
Sky express, a private Greek airline that flies to almost all islands, has grown rapidly over the past ten years. The Greek domestic flight market is divided between Olympic and Sky express.
