The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) announces that one investment party expressed its interest (Phase A) for granting the right to use, operate, manage and exploit the marina of Itea for at least 35 years.
In particular, Expression of Interest was submitted by Kiriacoulis Group.
HRADF’s advisors will evaluate the Expression of Interest and submit to HRADF’s Board of Directors their recommendation regarding the qualification of the investment party for the next phase of the tender.
Τhe Kiriacoulis Group of companies is active in the Yachting & Tourism industry since 1980. The backbone of the group consists of “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A.” (parent company) and “Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Sole Shareholder Shipping Co Ltd.” (100% affiliate).
The Group operates in three industries. The first industry is professional sea tourism with pleasure boats, owned by the Group and by third parties, second is the management of tourist ports and the third is that of real estate. The Group offers services like flotillas, bareboat chartering, crew chartering etc. Furthermore, it has expanded its operations abroad in Croatia, Italy, France, Malta, Caribbean and Spain with a fleet of approximately 400 yachts of all kinds; sailing yachts and catamarans, owned or exclusively managed.
The parent company of the Kiriacoulis Group’s principal activity is the exploitation of its own yachts. At the end of 2018, the company’s fleet consisted of 141 yachts, constructed from recognized shipyards. Moreover, the company participates directly and indirectly in the equity of companies operating the marinas of Gouvia – Corfu, Lefkas and Zea, while recently acquired 100% of the shares, thus taking over full control of marina of Kalamata. Furthermore, through its participation in one of its affiliates, the company offers consulting services for the development and management of marinas.
