Greece in the Top 15 of British travelers in 2025

Greece is among the 15 destinations that will be the focus of interest for British travellers in 2025, according to the findings of a recent RentalReady survey.

A new survey, based on Google Keayword Planner search data relating to flights, hotels and holiday packages to 180 popular destinations worldwide, has revealed the top travel destinations for Brits in 2025, with Thailand topping the rankings.

According to the findings, Greece is ranked 11th among the top fifteen, with 26,120 searches on average.

Thailand is the most popular UK holiday destination for 2025, attracting 69,724 searches related to travel each month by Brits to the tropical paradise, which equates to more than 2,000 searches every day.

Canada ranks second among Brits for travel in the New Year, with 42,827 average monthly searches for flights, hotels and holidays, for 2025.

India follows in third place, with an average monthly volume of 41,622 searches related to travel by UK holidaymakers.

Turkey, a firm favourite country for British holidaymakers, is in fourth place, with an average monthly volume of 40,530 searches related to UK travel.

Spain completes the top five countries on the UK travellers’ 2025 travel lists. Spain was found to have an average monthly search volume of 40,273 UK searches related to travel to the Mediterranean destination.


Among the top travel destinations for Brits in the new year are Japan, Jamaica and Mauritius, while European countries also remain a top choice for UK holidaymakers, with Portugal, Italy, Greece and France also experiencing impressive popularity.
