London maintained its top spot as the world’s most visited destination in 2025. Tokyo followed closely with a 2.3% share, while Paris rose to third place with a 2% share, indicating generally steady demand in these major hubs, according to the latest data from Forwardkeys.
Madrid and Alicante led the ranking (both with a 10% increase) of the destinations with the best performance in terms of their growth compared to last year, with Punta Cana following (+9%).
Dubai and Marrakech completed the top five, showing steady momentum (both with an 8% increase).

Acceleration in the Asia-Pacific region by 2025 with reference point in North Asia
Destinations in the Asia-Pacific region continued their momentum in 2025, led by North Asia, which saw a strong increase.
Okinawa topped the development table (+36%), while Beijing (+29%), Shanghai (+27%), and Guangzhou (+26%) all saw strong year-over-year growth, highlighting the revival of mainland China.
Shanghai and Tokyo lead the growth in corporate travel
Shanghai remained the fastest-growing international corporate destination in 2025, with a 10% increase year-over-year. Tokyo also strengthened its position with steady growth (+9%), while Madrid remained the top city in market share (2.2%) and saw a 5% increase, compared to 2024.
