“A 14-year-old girl died after a panic attack and 69 people were injured in Mugla province as they rushed to seek safety,” Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on his X account.

According to him, the injuries were mainly due to falls from height. Of the injured, 46 people were treated in emergency departments, 14 received care on the spot and eight were discharged after receiving first aid at outpatient clinics in local hospitals.

Unfortunately, 14-year-old Afranur Günlü, from Fethiye, did not make it, despite the immediate intervention of doctors at the hospital where she was taken due to a panic attack, CNN Turk reported.
