Ryanair flights are added to the package holidays offered by British tour operator Classic Collection Holidays, offering further flight options to its customers.
The tour operator has announced that it will start selling Ryanair flights through its network of more than 3,000 travel agent partners in the coming weeks.
In a statement, Si Morris-Green, B2B director of Classic Collection, said: “We are really looking forward to working with the largest airline group in the UK. This development comes as a direct result of Classic Collection being able to leverage part of Ryanair’s agreement with our parent company On the Beach, allowing our trading partners to offer their customers a much wider choice of regional departures and thousands of new holiday packages. These will be available at the highly competitive airfares associated with the Ryanair brand.”
A new dedicated team in the contact centre will handle the tour operator’s bookings with Ryanair flights to ensure that travel agents and their customers get the information they need in real time.
“Ryanair’s flights represent a significant, value-focused addition to our extensive range of existing airline partners. Now that our parent company has an authorized agreement, we will be able to reward our commercial partners with more competitively priced products and travel options from the Classic Collection than ever before,” added Mr. Morris-Green .
After extensive testing, bookings will be able to be made through the Classic Collection’s agent-only booking portal in the coming weeks.
Late last February Ryanair announced a deal with online travel agent On the Beach (OTA), offering OTA access to the low-cost carrier’s flights to create ATOL-protected packages, putting an end to a long-running legal battle.
