TUI UK has 1,000 more hotels for sale for summer 2025 | Some in Greece

TUI UK has put an additional 1,000 hotels on sale for summer 2025 in popular tourist destinations, including Greece, in response to the growing demand for flexible stays.

According to the company, there is an increase in bookings for holidays that do not involve the usual length of stay of seven, ten and fourteen nights.

Nine-night stays are the top-selling non-traditional holiday length for this summer, while eight- and 12-night stays show the largest increase, compared to last year.

The additional hotels are available for sale for five, six, eight, nine and twelve nights, with the flexibility allowed by TUI Airways and partner airlines, operating from more than 20 airports across the UK.

TUI said that family bookings are driving the changes seen mainly in the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Greece, Turkey and mainland Spain.

Speaking about this, Phillip Iveson, commercial director of TUI UK and Ireland, said: “The growth in alternative stay periods demonstrates the continued demand we are seeing for greater flexibility and choice in travel. At TUI, we provide ultimate flexibility, offering unrivalled regional flights, from more than 20 airports across the UK, a range of flight options with different airline partners and working closely with hoteliers to provide a variety of stay time options.”

According to him, the additional hotels available for sale for next summer are proof of the positive bookings we have seen at all times of the year.

“The appetite for travel is stronger than ever and we know that popular Mediterranean destinations such as Turkey, Greece and Spain continue to be a benchmark for UK holidaymakers,” added Mr Iveson.

Notably, the additional hotels also offer free places for children.
