-Customised holidays and multi-generational travel at the heart of 2025
With a total of around 12,000 hotels, of which 1,200 are new properties and 365 hotels with exclusive booking options, Dertour and ITS and Meiers Weltreisen are offering an expanded hotel portfolio next summer in response to the strong demand, mainly for Greece, Turkey, Spain, but also for long-haul destinations.
Among the new hotel “arrivals” is a Greek hotel, the ananea Rocrita in Crete, which is aimed at extended families.
Extended family holidays and multi-generational holidays are on the rise in 2025. For these extended family bookings, Dertour, ITS and Meiers Weltreisen in their summer 2025 programme include a large collection of spacious family apartments as well as multi-bedroom villas and fincas.
New for Dertour, is ananea Rocrita, in Mochlos, on the northeast coast of Crete, between Agios Nikolaos and Sitia. The resort offers 70-square-metre suites, accommodating up to six people, childcare services, a teenage club and children’s pool, as well as a large wellness and sports area for adults. Children up to 11 years old stay here free of charge throughout the season.
With more than 2,000 trips around the world, Dertour offers a particularly wide range in the package travel market. Country-specific and thematic programmes are complemented by various special travel offers compiled by expert teams.
“Package holidays in 2025 involve highly personalised travel with a high level of comfort and comprehensive protection,” explains Sven Schikarsky, Head of Product at Dertour Germany, on the occasion of the publication of t.o’s summer programmes for 2025. He continues: “Today, our broad product range covers even the most specialised travel requirements – from camping holidays in nature to cruises with a luxury yacht.” With Dertour Deluxe, for example, travellers can choose from around 1,500 luxury hotels, more than 100 return trips and 12 luxury cruise lines for ocean, river and expedition travel.
The coming summer promises a variety of travel options that appeal to a wide range of traveler types. “There is no longer just one type of package holiday traveller. With our vast breadth of offerings, we cater to a wide variety of target groups – from luxury travelers to cost-conscious vacationers, from solo travelers to visitors traveling with their extended family,” Schikarsky explains.
