Condé Nast Traveller Triple Crown: Four Greek hotels make the list of Europe’s best

Four Greek hotels have been included in the Condé Nast Traveller Triple Crown Europe list, the international travel magazine’s new distinction that highlights hotels that have won all three of Condé Nast Traveller’s most prestigious awards: the Hot List, the Gold List, and the Readers’ Choice Awards.

According to Condé Nast Traveller, this is the only collection of hotels to have earned all three distinctions. To be included on the Hot List, a hotel must have been recognized as one of the best new openings of the year in which it opened. Inclusion in the Gold List requires selection by the magazine’s editors as one of their favorite hotels, while a spot on the Readers’ Choice Awards is based on votes from readers, who rank it among the best hotels they have stayed at.

This new distinction is based on nearly four decades of awards, reviews, and accolades from Condé Nast Traveller and brings together hotels that have stood out both in terms of critical acclaim and guest experience.

Among the hotels included on the list are four Greek properties: Amanzoe in Porto Heli, The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort in Costa Navarino, the Grande Bretagne, and the Four Seasons Astir Palace Athens in Athens.

The list of top European hotels also includes Borgo Egnazia in Apulia, Italy, Cheval Blanc St Tropez in France, the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris, the Ritz Paris, the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, Le Meurice, the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, The Ritz-Carlton Berlin, Passalacqua on Lake Como, Il Sereno Hotel on Lake Como, Cap Rocat in Mallorca, the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam, The Dylan Amsterdam, The Dolder Grand in Zurich, the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva, the Four Seasons Hotel Prague, the Mandarin Oriental Prague, The Thief in Oslo, and the Olissippo Lapa Palace Hotel in Lisbon.

Condé Nast Traveller reports that the Triple Crown collection will henceforth serve as a benchmark for future travel recommendations and features, highlighting hotels that have consistently been recognized by the magazine’s editors and readers.
