EasyJet is Europe’s leading airline, offering a unique and successful combination of the best network of routes connecting Europe’s main airports, with great prices and friendly service.
easyJet flies on more of Europe’s most popular routes than any other airline and in 2024 carried more than 100 million passengers. The airline has over 340 aircraft operating over 1000 routes to more than 160 airports in 35 countries. Over 300 million Europeans live within an hour’s drive of an easyJet airport.
EasyJet aims to be business responsible, employing people on local contracts in nine countries across Europe in full compliance with national laws and recognising their trade unions. The airline supports a number of local charities and has a corporate
partnership with UNICEF, which has raised almost £17 million for the most vulnerable children since it was established in 2012.
In 2022, easyJet published its strategic plan for zero emissions by 2050. The plan, which includes a combination of fleet renewal, operational efficiency, airspace modernisation, Sustainable Aviation Fuel and carbon removal technology, aims initially to
a 35% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions by 2035, which is endorsed by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). The airline’s ultimate goal is to fully transition its fleet to zero-carbon technology, which it will achieve through a series of strategic partnerships, including with Airbus, Rolls-Royce and GKN Aerospace Solutions. Since 2000, the airline has successfully reduced its carbon emissions per passenger, per kilometre, by a third.
Innovation is in easyJet’s DNA – from its launch almost 30 years ago, easyJet has changed the way people fly to today, where the airline is leading the industry in digital and operational innovations to make travel easier and more accessible for people
passengers. In 2023 easyJet was named one of the world’s best airlines by TIME and by the Financial Times as a Leader in Diversity 2024.
