The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), a member of the HCAP Group, announces that four Interested Parties have submitted Offers for the exploitation of part of the former U.S. military base of Gournes in Heraklion, Crete.
In particular, Offers were submitted by the following Interested Parties (in alphabetical order):
- CLUB HOTEL CASINO LOUTRAKI S.A.– LYKTOS HOLDING S.A.
- DIMAND S.A.
- REDS S.A.
- VIVION INVESTMENTSà r.l.
The review of the documentation submitted in order to verify that they are in line with the terms specified in the Request for Proposal will begin immediately. Shortly after, the Board of Directors of HRADF will unseal the Financial Offers in accordance with the applicable procedure. HRADF may further ask for improved Financial Offers as per the rules of the Tender Process.
The real estate property of Gournes consists of a beachfront land plot of 345,567 sqm located 13km from the airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” and 16 km from Heraklion. In neighbouring land plots to the property have been developed the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, the Cretaquarium Thalassocosmos, the International Exhibition and Conference Centre of Crete, etc.
HRADF will establish a société anonyme to which it will contribute ownership over the real estate property and will transfer its entire share capital to the Highest Bidder.
