An increase of 3.2% in the turnover of tourism businesses was recorded in February 2025 according to ELSTAT – Hellenic Statistical Authority.
At a broader level, an increase of 2.5% was recorded in the turnover of Greek businesses in February. In particular, for all businesses in the economy with the obligation to keep double-entry books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, turnover in February 2025 amounted to 28,839,930 thousand euros, an increase of 2.5% compared to February 2024, which had amounted to 28,143,658 thousand euros.
The largest increase in turnover in February 2025 compared to February 2024 was recorded by enterprises in the sector Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, by 28.4%, while enterprises in the Mining and quarrying sector decreased by 22.8%.
