Just as Michelin has extended its Michelin Keys awards to hotels, La Liste is expanding its rankings beyond restaurants with a new “elite global hospitality” ranking that highlights the ten best luxury properties on three continents – North America, Asia and Europe.
Known for its sophisticated algorithm that analyses thousands of reviews, published business ratings and guest comments, La Liste inspires travellers around the world with this new ranking.
“Hotels are no longer just places to stay,” says Philippe Faure, president and founder of La Liste, “They have become cultural landmarks, ecological laboratories and creators of unforgettable experiences.”
The data takes into account the opinions of professionals and visitors, using the weighted calculations La Liste is known for in compiling its annual list of the best restaurants. The proprietary algorithm aggregates and analyzes data from more than 400 international sources to create a unique, objective assessment that aims to transcend cultural preferences and regional biases.
