Two Greek beaches are listed among the 10 best nudist beaches in Europe. Red Sand Beach in Crete is the fourth best while Filaki Beach in Sfakia is ranked fifth.
VIP Grinders can reveal that the title of Europe’s Best Nude Beach belongs to Patara Beach in Patara, Turkey. The unofficial nudist beach is one of the largest on the Turkish Riveriera, sitting at around 18km, popular with nude beach-goers and turtles too. The beach scores 8.66 out of 10 with a sweltering average temperature of 28°C during summer, 17.7K Instagram hashtags, 26K Google searches per month, and a solid Tripadvisor score of 4.2.

Landing in second place, Maspalomas Beach in Gran Canaria, Spain, scores 8.48 out of 10. Often regarded as Europe’s nudist capital, it is buzzing with tourists and locals laid bare across the 6km long beach. Nudism is very popular on the island as a whole, but the middle of Maspolomas beach is where nudists flock together. The beach is rated 4.4 out of 5 on TripAdvisor, and with a very low rainfall rate at 1mm on average in June, July, and August, this beach is the perfect place to bare it all.
In third place, Platja de Llevant earns 8.32 out of 10. The nudist-friendly spot in Spain is home to white sand and sparkling blue waters, offering a small slice of paradise. A pleasant temperature of 25°C will have visitors stripping down with only 10mm of rainfall per month on average during summer. The beach also boasts one of the highest Tripadvisor ratings in the ranking at 4.6 out of 5.
Red Sand Beach (Kokkini Ammos) in Crete takes fourth place in the ranking, scoring 7.87 out of 10. Described as one of the island’s best-kept secrets, with only 320 Instagram hashtags and 500 monthly Google searches, visitors can bare-it-all without a crowd. With red sand and crystal blue waters, the beach offers a picturesque escape, earning a 4.3 out of 5 rating on Tripadvisor.
