Sani Asterias is among the highly anticipated list of the 500 best hotels in the world, as voted by the readers of the internationally acclaimed travel magazine Travel + Leisure.
The T+L 500 list is an institution in the travel industry, highlighting every year top hotels that offer experiences that exceed expectations. The selection is made through the extensive participation of the readers of Travel + Leisure, one of the world’s largest and most influential travel media. The hotels included have been singled out not only for their high quality services and amenities, but also for their enduring appeal to guests who continue to choose them time and time again.
This year’s edition is based on the results of last year’s World’s Best Awards voting and is broken down alphabetically and by geographic region, providing a valuable guide for millions of travellers who turn to T+L for inspiration and guidance for their next getaway.
Hotels were categorized into resort hotels, city hotels, inns or safari lodges based on their location and amenities, and were specifically rated based on the following criteria:
