EasyJet: Flights from £20.99 to popular Greek destinations in Summer 2024 | 300,000 travellers and 2,000 flights in a single day

With the arrival of the summer, school holidays across the UK, easyJet is preparing for the busiest period of the year, during which the airline will operate over 80,000 flights to North Africa and a host of European destinations, including many Greek destinations, for which it offers low fares.

In particular, the British carrier is offering one-way flights, including taxes, for last-minute bookings from Luton airport to Mykonos from £29.99 and to Santorini from £36.99.

It also offers flights from Bristol to Kefalonia from £23.99, from Birmingham to Corfu from £38.99, from Manchester to Skiathos from £20.99, from Edinburgh to Kefalonia from £20.99 and from Glasgow to Crete from £31.99.

The airline will have its busiest day for this summer on July 28, when nearly 2,000 flights will take place, expected to carry more than 300,000 travellers on their summer holidays.

Apart from the Greek destinations, the seaside destinations of Palma, Faro and Malaga in Spain, as well as the seaside cities of Barcelona – which also serves some of Spain’s most popular leisure resorts – and Nice in southern France, are proving to be among the favourite hot spots this year for those seeking guaranteed sun, great food, culture and natural beauty, while increased demand is being recorded for Turkey.

Popular destinations for families in the all-in holiday model are Antalya, Izmir, Minorca and Hurghada.

In a statement, Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK director, commented: “Summer is always the busiest time of the year and this year is no exception. We continue to see more and more people choosing easyJet to take them on their summer getaways, and with the school holidays having started in most of the country last weekend, we’re looking forward to taking them on a beach holiday to spend quality time with friends and family members or to relax and rejuvenate.”

According to him, easyJet continues to do everything possible to make travel as easy and, of course, affordable as possible, offering fantastically priced fares for those looking for a last-minute opportunity and hundreds of routes to 136 destinations across Europe and beyond.
