The Greek National Tourism Organization approved a co-advertising program worth 186,200 euros for the German market, in collaboration with the airline Condor Flugdienst GmbH and the tour operator Alltours Flugreisen GmbH, according to a decision posted on Diavgeia.
The expenditure concerns a program for promoting Greece abroad and will be implemented within the period 2025-2026, aiming to boost tourism demand from the German market. The amount of the commitment is 186,200 euros and it is charged to the advertising and co-advertising code of the Hellenic Tourism Organization’s budget for the 2025 fiscal year.
The decision makes extensive reference to the institutional and administrative framework governing the operation of the Greek National Tourism Organization, as well as the successive reforms of the organization’s budget in 2025, which have been approved by decisions of the political leadership of the Ministry of Tourism. At the same time, it is noted that the specific credit commitment is within the approved allocation rate and meets all the required fiscal conditions.
The EOT’s financial department confirms that the relevant expenditure is covered by the organization’s available appropriations, and after approval of the specific action, there is a remaining balance of €96,964.84 to be drawn on the corresponding code. The decision has already been recorded in the service’s approval and payment order book.
The collaboration with Condor and Alltours is part of the Greek National Tourism Organization’s strategy for targeted promotional actions in key markets for Greek tourism. Germany has historically been one of the most important inbound tourism markets for the country, both in terms of arrivals and tourism revenue, with co-promotion programs considered a critical tool for maintaining and further strengthening Greece’s presence in the networks of major airlines and tour operators.
The decision is signed by the General Secretary of the Greek National Tourism Organization, Andreas Fioreftinos, and the head of the Economic Service, Eleni Bilisi, and is notified to the organization’s Directorate of Tourism Promotion, which is also responsible for implementing the related actions.
